This is a photograph of a water-color I have had for some thirty years painted by a Brazilian doctor whose name I no longer recall and is not present on the painting. I recall the history: though Brazilian by birth, he was raised in regions of Africa, he was strongly influenced by the ritualistic expression of spirituality and divinity embodied by the African tribal collective
