Like wrinkles on the water

Like wrinkles on the water
words and deeds circle out wider
until love is later
something more than just a decision
and even when fear and pain appears
there is a kind of balance
that goes through everything
while you and I adore each other intimately
and our time together lingers
when moments sometimes contain hours
while what we are is never narrow-minded or set
and I see somebody lovely in you
that perfectly fits into my existence, into my body,
someone that brings certainty to every when and maybe.
