Sit And Think

As I sit here

Waiting for something to happen

I feel my thoughts drift towards you

I think about how you smile at me

How you laugh with me

I think about our code-like conversations on Facebook

About how we talk of breakfast and T.V. shows

I think about how I'm dying to tell you

That I wrote these poems for you

I think about how you'll react

'You should just tell him' my friends say

But what would I say?

Dead Love

He talked about dying today
And he said I would've probably laughed
If he did die

I giggled at the fake joke
Just to amuse him
But inside I was crying

He talked about passing away
As if it was no big deal
And a little part of my heart broke

I can't imagine what life would be like
What I would be like
If he wasn't here

It brings silent tears to my eyes
And loud knives to my heart
Just thinking about it

I wish he knew
That if he died
I would die with him
(...)

Love Songs

I listen to song after song about love

And I can feel the tears rise in my eyes

For they all remind me of you

And how you don't notice me...

I cry these notes for you

I want you

I need you

Here in my life

And I cry harder

Because I know

That it'll never happen

Over You (Maybe)

'I'm never going back...'
These are the words I said
To my most trusted friend
He enever knew that it was a lie
I never knew it was a lie...
You broke my heart
So many times in the past
And yet
I keep going back to you
Running at full force
Only to be hurt again...
I hurt myself because of you
I couldn't speak without crying
I couldn't look at you without my heart breaking
I avoided everyone
For they all reminded me of you
They knew something was wrong
But they never bothered to ask
I was always wondering to myself:
'How can someone be so cruel?'
'How can someone hurt this much
Without meaning to?'
I couldn't stand it
(...)

I Don't Get It

I don't get guys.
I don't get how all of them can be so oblivious to what ACTUALLY matters.
Not just looks.
I don't get how they can do nothing, and everything at the same time.
I don't get how they can hurt someone so much without even knowing it.
I don't get how they can make everyone fall for them without even trying...

And I don't get ME.

I don't get how I'm so, so stupid for actually THINKING that any guy (especially HIM) could ever like me back.
I don't get how I can let myself feel this way.
He's an ass for what he did to me.
No one deserves to be hurt lke this...

And I especially don't get why I'm crying...

Signs

Now you're over her
And as far as I'm concerned,
There is no 'other' girl

Or is there?

You've been asking me
If I'll wait for you

You've been hanging around me
More often than usual

You've been asking who I like
And if there is another boy

You smile and laugh at my jokes
But that's nothing new

Even so...
It still makes me smile

I'm starting to believe
That these signs

(no title) Chapter Three: Samantha Goldstone

Chapter Three: Samantha
17 years old

I woke up to a wet pillow, I'd been crying in my sleep. I had that dream again; that memory. It seems so long ago now, but the dreams never stopped.

I was coming back home from my rose garden, I was in a good mood because I finally was able to see them. I stepped into our yard, and that’s when I felt something… I didn’t know what it was but it didn’t feel right. I quickly walked up to my window and peeked in. Everything looked alright, but I still had that funny feeling. I opened my window and climbed in, a huge wave of struggle washed over me. I didn’t know what happened but I knew it was bad.

“Mommy?? Daddy??” I said cautiously, inching towards my open door.

I could hear the wind rushing through the house; leaves were rustling on the floor.

'Why are there leaves in here?' I thought.

I didn’t know what was going on, I was so confused to the point of tears. Or maybe I was scared to the point of tears… I walked out into the hallway as quietly as possible.

NOTE: heyy it's me again! this is only part of the chapter, i've been really busy these past couple of days and i've had no time to finish it xP (also i'm suffering from severe writers block, so if you have any ideas, PLEASE tell me!) but anyways, i hope you (...)

(no title) Chapter Two: Isaac Dawns

Chapter Two: Isaac Dawns
18 years old

I remember her... I remember what happened all those years ago. I remember that day as if it was yesterday. I was only 8 years old at the time. I was sitting outside in the dark watching the moon when I heard it. A small sniffling sound and the soft crunch of bare feet on leaves. At first I thought it was another wild animal; but there was no mistaking that shadow in the trees. That human shadow.

"Hello?" I called out to the shadow.

"Help me..." The shadow said in a soft voice. Then it collapsed to the ground.

I instantly started panicking. I had to help this person.

'But how?'

I ran over to the person and picked them up. That was when my breath caught in my throat. Her pale face shone in the moonlight. Her wheat colored hair sparkled. She had been crying; around her eyes were red and slightly puffy.

There was still a tear on her soft cheek...

"Mom!" I cried out when I stepped into my home, not remembering that I no longer had a mother.

My aunt came around the corner while rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Isaac, I'm not your mother. I'm your au-" She gasped when she saw the girl in my arms. "Oh my..."

  She rushed over to me.

(no title) Chapter One: Samantha Goldstone

Chapter One: Samantha Goldstone
7 years old

I am a dӕmon. No, not a creepy little goblin thing with horns and a tail that breaths fire. I look human, talk like a human, act human, do human things; I pretty much am human. Except, of course, for the big, black, feathered wings protruding from my back; and for the fact that I do magic. I use a certain magic called 'Glamour' to hide my wings from untrained eyes. I say untrained because there are some with 'The Sight' who can see past the Glamour and uncover the truth of what lies underneath. Since I am a dӕmon, I don't need The Sight to see the truth. If I were to concentrate hard enough, the Glamour would just melt away. But I haven't had to do that ever because I am the last of my kind. My family were all dӕmons like me. There was no one else; or so I was told.

My name is Samantha Goldstone. My mother was Maxine Whicker, and my father was Robert Goldstone. Not only am I the last of my kind, but I was (and still am) the only pureblood when my parents were still around. The reason why I was the only pureblood is because my family was in hiding; this is also the reason why we were the last ones alive. My kind was always hunted by the Priests. These are not your average priests, these men were hunters of my kind. They are members of an underground church clan called (...)

The (UN) Love Letter

I'm your closest friend
And...
I LOVE YOU!
...To bad I'll never be able to tell you...

P.S. I just want to say: I hate you for hurting me like this
