I Want a Man Who

I want a man will be exciting to be around.  I want man who will make me jump for joy everytime I see him.  I want a man who will make me smile everyday.

I want a man who will always make you laugh on my bad days. I want a man who will make time for me when I need a friend.

I want a man who sit and listen to my  words when I'm hurt. I want a man who will not play games with my heart. I want a man who will always be true to me even in the hard times.

I want a man who will talk to me all night just to make me smile. I want a man who will be the one i can count on to be there for me no matter what.

I want a man who will be the one i can put my trust in. I want a man who will love me as one but also be a best friend who will never let me go.

I want a man who has fun and loving personality. I want a man who will lay with me with a smile and embracing me with hugs. I want a man who will be the one i can just hang out with.  I want man who has a great since of humor. I want a man who says I'm his princess forever and always.

Poem: Heart of Flesh

O Lord, I continue to ache for Your heart of flesh!
Lovingly chastise me, with regard to improper attitudes;
my spirit will never freely soar in unity with You,
without understanding and a transcendental altitude.

Chasing earthly mirages is a waste of my precious time
and it will never satisfy or quench my unending thirst.
Living a dedicated life of self-gratification and pleasure,
won’t overcome this pain… that’s been repeatedly rehearsed.

Deep within my soul, I embrace Your genuine Love for me.
As a result, unwanted, dead things are compelled to fall away.
Concepts of selfishness, jealousy, discontentment, self-pity,
greed, addiction, and unforgiveness will no longer rule my days.

Lord, teach me to “take up my cross” daily without complaint;
Break the stony hardheartedness that hinders our relationship!
For I crave, the joy and contentment I previously possessed,
which softly undergirds our ongoing and eternal fellowship.

With Your Word hidden in my heart, I walk the “narrow path”,
since sin’s “broad path” leads only to one’s destruction.
Acting ungodly will always be a lost battle of the soul;
therefore, I cling onto Your Salvation and Resurrection…

with a proper mindset and complete surrender to You!
Self-centeredness is unhealthy to my soul’s existence;
therefore, I’m determined to purposely seek oneness with You,
while forgoing the proverbial path… of least resistance.

Times

In spring I long
for the autumn’s stretched out afternoons
when leaves fall and fall
almost secretive to the earth.

In summer there are times
when I long for the days of winter rest
and in autumn I do remember the spring
which stretches her flowers out wide
and I really want to smell her fragrances

but I can only come to the conclusion
that life does constantly run into a season
and that a person has got to experience
all of the different seasons and times
with someone that you do love.

When the spring rain pours down

When the spring rain pours down
it seems as if the road does exude
a glorious cloud

with the fragrance of the rain being everywhere
and the fragrance of new life
that comes from the ground
when new sprouts do appear
and everything about me is green.

At this time birds rejoice
while they catch insects twittering
when a rainbow hangs colourful against the heaven

and God stretches out His great mercy over His earth,
does cover the veldt with green grass and flowers
and also with His love.

BEAST AND LOVERS

In the orbit, fear was invisible;
was not seeking anything, just wanted
to become a stone;

break my body into seven rocks,
each one becoming a rhyme
never to die;

said, I am, now, is, not mildewed
past, not grizzly future.
Every moment myself.

Tree, river, cloud and mount
become aboriginal alphabets.
Sun walks alone.

Behind the death, another miracle
seals the lips of a dumb;
Only eyes will speak now.

sex and war

what sex and war have in common
besides beginning with blind passion
is their resultant carnage in the aftermath
of their engagement

war

war is not a word
full of ambiguities
it is full to overflowing
yes
fuck
love
too
but unlike them
war is always full of the same quarry
of insanity

reality

Reality
a dumpster word
if ever there was one
too full of everything
to mean anything
in particular
it is something for dumpster
divers
to contend with

Golem Land

A golem land of misty dreams.
Solemn and
what it seems.
Abondoned, lonely, possessed with fear
Listen well, hear it whisper "Come near , Come near."

Walk more careful, step more slow.
Avoid to find what demons know.
What lyes between death and dread
What lyes beyond, behind, ahead.
Who will comfort
all have gone
Just you inside this land alone.

Something scatters in the darkness
fast
Someone screams "Alone at last!"
Someone moans, cries, then yells
"Take me away!
Wicked spells!"

An ugly beast moves down the trail,
Your body is frozen, weak and frail.
Eyes of blood
teeth sharp and wet.
His claws reach out
His victim set.

You die again
a gruesome plight.
You awake and find a moonlit night.
Look around
this you find.
Grab your head
you loose your mind,
'A golem land of misty dreams
solemn and what it seems............"
