Till The End

I will not let you leave my side
no tears will fall from those eyes
even if I where to die
and for sure is no lie
you are my heart
my endless breath
you keep me up when the world weighs me down
you make sure I never frown
and when the day I can not stand on my own comes
I know that you will stay
when I can no longer speak
I know you will still talk to me
for this is what you promised me
the day we first did speak
and pulled me close and whispered lightly
stealing all my fears
that is when I knew you cared
and by me you would stay till the end

Waiting For You

Quick steps on frozen earth
Quick breaths in the moon lit night
Waiting for daylight
Waiting for you

You left on a night much like this
You left with a frozen kiss
Said you would be back soon
I'm still waiting on you

Said you had a job to do
I could only watch as you dissapeared
Camoflagued by your hopes
Couldn't you see me wishing you would stay?

Quick steps on frozen earth
Quick breaths in the moon lit night
Waiting for daylight
Waiting for you

Fridged air keeps me from breathing
Standing in this spot, believing your words
"I'll come home to you, just wait"
Well I'm standing here, a year has passed by

She shivers in my arms waiting
Your last goodbye
Named her grace like you told me to
She has your eyes she, has your face

Quick steps on frozen earth
Quick breaths in the moon lit night
Waiting for daylight
Waiting for you

The letters stopped, piled in a corner
I never read a single one
Told myself we would sit down together
And read them to her, you and I

This year it hasn't snowed
But I'm soaked to the bone
Left grace inside,
She's by the dooring waiting

She calls him daddy

He takes care of her, our baby girl
He holds her like you never did
He loves her like a father should

Tails

Twisted tails turn to time
clawing clearing, carving cliffs
playing proudly, pouring power
out on old orders
ending every earthen evil
with wounded wanderers weak
beneath blind battle
seeking sound sanity

etched with time

Regret

with simple touches
and gentle whispers
I clawed to the surface
buried in regrets
too young to have lived
I cried out dirt clinged like oil
no support only a tight rope
only a bridge that has been worn out
to late to go back
to early to charge ahead
and me covered in regret

Touch my heart
make it stop
hold it tight and squeeze
I can't take this thing that is me

Take my soul
release it from it's shell
watch it fly from my eyes

bury it away
scatter it to the wind
