I do not like the loveliest poetry,
or any kind of music better than you
and although these things are awesome to me
they do not have the ability to be true
but from the very time that we had met,
you are very hard to try and forget.
 
There is something in the way you do smile
that draws me, does all my feelings beguile;
it may sound somewhat absurd or dissolute
but I find you beautiful and very cute,
more intoxicating than wine or a cigarette,
you are very hard to try and forget.
