just before you extend your claws

purr

you purr
in pleasure and
in need; in bed you do
it with aplomb; i need to ask:
are you pure hominid
or are you part
felid?

MEDITATION

talking of fire and passion
watch a scented pistil
guiding the asteroids, did you

hear the flawless silence
after the cuckoo’s call, an interruption,
a suspended pause, then a

high pitched cascading note, moon
is still hanging out on the western sky,
it is dawn

sun is coming out from the hazel bed
violence must cease
clouds are meditating

BEYOND CHANGE

It slides stealthily in you, the fear
shifting the blame, stoking to run. He said
the wolves are coming. I heard a wailing
sound across the black wall,

I hate you, I hate you. He was crying
and shouting. Why were you so good to
me, why did not you hit me? He started
throwing stones on jasmines –

and then hanged himself with a shoe
lace. Fingerprinting the DNA was inconclusive.
Senseless incarceration, a hidden paranoia,
a tormented soul arrested under the canopy.

Heights, yes heights were responsible for the
fall, for the hurt, for the pain. Could not
stay fearlessly for a long time. Perfection
was the watchword.

Death was the peace.

Lost Love

The world comes together,
When I just want to meet her,
The love I have just gets sweeter,
Its so humongous, you may call me a cheater,

The hair in her eyes,
The glow of her smile,
the attention of her style,
makes me ask why,
She just calls me a friend,
Why not we go till the end,
Because my love will never cease,
I feel with her like a hot day's cold breeze,
I love her so,
Why does she tell me no,
The emptiness of the boat i row,
The water does not stop its flow,
Whatever she says make me feel low,
Because I lover her and will never let her go.

DARK FEET

Overnight I have turned
grey, stuck on the threshold
of a song

which does not cry
parting the mist
of the eyes.

Why should not,
the humming bird stop
becoming voiceless?

O bystander,
wakeup the moon
night will fall now glittering.

Love is (Rubliw)

Love is
the things we miss
and yet its not just bliss
or something hidden in a kiss
but the simple kindness of every day
the small words and acts that we may
in the depths of the mind
do leave behind
or miss.

Loving has a skill (Rubliw)

Winter
brought its own rest
and in the time of chill
when all was stripped to the core
you were very kind to me, and much more
when I was tired and somewhat ill
and loving has a skill
that at its best
restores.

Much more (Rubliw)

You do
cross the tar road
and my heart leaps with pain
while I wish that you will remain
and the wind does jerk at your skirt, your hair
while to me you are very fair
and my emotions overload
and I love you
much more.

I do know (Rubliw)

We will
meet each other
on a bright summer day
or in the chilly winter May
and all this great love between you and me
will be lasting eternally
and the things that bother
will fade away
with love.

Poem: Saintly Seeds

Let your Life be a sacred garden,
planted with genuine, saintly seeds;
properly nurturing your crop daily,
yields blessings for personal needs.

Begin with three rows of peas:
“Peace” of mind, heart and soul,
for it creates a basic foundation
that leaves you healthy and whole.

Next plant four rows of squash:
”Squash” vain gossip, indifference,
grumbling and unwelcome selfishness
to reap real, spiritual brilliance.

Add four generous rows of lettuce:
”Let us” be kind, walk in His Love,
faithful, and patient with each other-
being reflective of the Kingdom above.

Follow with three rows of turnips:
“Turn up” for meetings, service
and to regularly help one another.
Not to do so, would be a disservice.

Finally, plant three rows of thyme:
”Time” for family, friends and others-
seeing that we’re really related through
our humanity, as sisters and brothers.

Sow your seeds often; water with patience;
prune and cultivate them with His goodwill.
By transforming into a master gardener,
the desired results, you’ll… eventually see!
