Only Your Presence

Eternal peace rains on me
By your presence.
Your lively looks; smiling face;
Luster and beauty of eyes
With a sprightly mind
Are the food for my life.

I always find an existence
Within your love,
Within your smiling face.
Because you are the centre
Of my all attraction.

I’m a ship on water
Unable to reach my destination
Without your presence.
I’m a bird without identity
Looking for shelter within your love.
Anywhere I go
Carry you always in my heart.

Tears roll down on my cheeks
For the fear of losing you
Being a sunlight in my heart
You’ll never go away.

In the voice of my heart
Your smiling sound always echoes.
You’ve come only for me
And make my new world.

False Pride

Claim you a man ?
Not touched by others’ pain
It is all falsehood ;
All emptiness.

To satisfy unspeakable desires
The obscurity of the heart
Satiating dark passion
Seems lustrous to you.

Is it your pride ?
Alienated from sole identity
Lost in the shadow
Under the evil eye.
Lean on worldly wealth
Only to keep and comfort you.
It is all falsehood ;
All emptiness.

Is it your conscience ?
Lost in the madness
Of this lousy world.
Being the worst sinner
Lost in abyss of darkness
Violating the sanctity
Of holy heart.
It is all emptiness.

Compass Lover

Be like compass lovers
Based on pure love
As the central point .
Mutual reverence and trust
As the only basis.

They can’t exist
If they can’t live by love.
Devoted to each other
For making a meaningful world.
They can't be separated
Due to concrete unification of soul.

But not easy to be like that
As it needs a great effort.
Needed honesty as a smartness
With developed insight
Through proper knowledge.

As a king loves all of his country,
Lovers have to intertwine on a centre
To be a compass lover.

It's an unintelligible tale
Still kept murmuring...
It is either nothing or everything
But it is not simply something.
It estranges me from rest of the world
And makes me a restless watchful person

Be like brook in my heart
That babbles cheerlessly on.

Be the crystal water
In my dead civilization.

O my dear infinite !
Why don’t you speak ?
Be my celestial source of inspiration
Not like the Cuckoo of Spring
Harbinger of a particular time.

Can’t utter anything
Without your ecstatic chirping
Full possession within me.

O my eternal sweet-heart !
Come to me
Kindle my garden of art
Warm me with your aesthetic love
And make me alive .

Inexplicable Reminiscence

With a frisson of delight
Lost in evanescent reminiscences,
My tarnished mirror-like imaginations
Makes me feel a citizen of somewhere else .

Through reiteration of happy infancy,
Recalcitrant childhood attitude,
An inner incentive intermingled with
Recollections of subsequent life,
Illuminates the interior of my dusky mirror.

All on a sudden I woke up from
Total oblivious existence of mine.
In a fix what to do……
Is it a dream or hallucination
Or the ghost of my drowsy inspiration ?

Trying to eternalize it
From the cluster of obliteration,
I’m giving it a re-birth
In a sheet of foolscap with the blood of pen.

Whatever it may be…
My first impulse to recapture past,
Like an impulse of motherly affection
Haunts me every now and then.

Aimless Wandering Thoughts

I always search my thoughts
Don’t speak beyond my knowledge
To find out my ultimate goal.
But why can’t I ?
Why I weep and walk
Through endless ways of thoughts ?

Why can’t I ?
Read my heart more accurately
Than anybody else encompassed me.
Am I a senseless or sightless sot ?

Why I’ve to pass ?
Intolerable inescapable night
That has no day .
Is it the reward of my uncontrollable faults
Or lack of patience ?

Why I always become influenced by others ?
And change my goal every now and then.
Why it happens to me again and again ?
Why I’m different from others ?
Why can't I be pleased with the things
That pleases others ?

Why I’m always obsessed
In a deep contemplative world ?
Why ? Why ? Why ?

An Agreement with Anger

Anger !
Why do you always irritate us ?
Is there any benefit for you ?

Don't you think ?
We've to undergo
An instant catastrophic long journey of pain
As an aftermath for your irritating.
That presses extra pressure
To our already existing ones.
And that time a slip of wrongdoing
Can be the cause of sufferings forever.

Anger !
Don't laugh at us.
You are painful , unbearable
And you always take the weakness
Of our uncontrollable situations.
What is the benefit here ?

Anger !
Don't do this with us.
Think you can be an asset
If you behave friendly with us
At that very crucial moment
And elevates our level
Beyond worldy ones.

Anger !
Why don't you make friendship with us ?
Don't you want to see a peaceful world
Full of peace-loving people ?

Anger !
Come to an agreement
Make an eternal contract with Patience
That brings peace of mind.

My Only Urge to Almighty

O Creator !
Rain your mercy on us.
We are filled with coarse
And brutal instincts
Devoid of conscience.

We mask our expression with smile
And lack energy
To grasp the better fortune.

O Almighty !
Show a sudden smile of heaven
Pouring like bright sunshine
Into our obscure heart .
Illuminate the human beings
Showing higher truth.

We the human beings ,
Indulged in inscrutable machinations
Are wandering without guidance
Towards the untamed forest.

O Omniscient !
Only Reader of our heart
Show mercy on us.
Relieve our heart
From horrible ugliness and guilt.

Respond to the agony of our heart
We are the most miserable.
Free us from the germ of evil.
Showing the light of heaven
Make us hungry for truth.

O Higher, Purer and Softer !
Raise us from abyss of darkness
There is happiness to be enjoyed
And good to be done.

Evocation of My Beloved

She was my maiden hope and happiness
Unknown to this world.
Whose celestial presence
Engulfed my whole being.

Richness of her beauty
Touched my pure heart fully.
Her exquisite inexplicable love
Relieved the burden
Of shame and anguish.

A charm of softness -
Played around her mouth
And beamed out of her eyes.
A crimson flush
Glowing on her cheek
That had long so pale.
Radiant and tender smile
Gushed from the very heart of womanhood.

And she is my only beloved
Still alive and will be.
Through my endless ways of thought.
