Not only when we cry we're sad
Or when we smile we're glad
It's only what we feel inside
Not what our faces try to hide,

Rain can fall in a happy day
Sun can shine in the middle of pain
No one can tell, no one can say
What will happen today,

Can't be down, can’t be up
Walking but your feet still stopped
Thinking you're in, while you're out
Entering a room already been locked,

Knowing the wrong, saying it's right
Seeing nothing in the light
Hard to show, easy to hide
That's what life is all about.
