I've fallen into a rather deep slumber,
Causing me to toss, and turn, and soon to lumber
I see darkness and all, soon causing fright...
As I catch myself falling into the night
I faceplant into the earth,
Hearing something creep forth
I look up to gaze, and what do I see...?
I see myself in a memory...with you looking at me
I remember this, very well...
Because this is when in love we fell
I had decided to give you the first kiss...
And from longing, I find myself having to miss...
Now, I surge forward in time,
Feeling as if I would blow like a mine
Now, I see us through our breakup...
Guess I really fucked up...
Flashes later, I see us...back together?
I had thought that this would last forever...
Then, more flashes later,
That image had just gotten farther
I now sit where I am now...
Hopeless, guilty...the old me won't be found
Easy come, easy go,
This is how it flows
Time apart, no more spent
I have just made my ascent,
Back to being soul-less, here I come...
Back to earth, then back from...
Just...back from the fires.
The fires that burn in Hell
