shane offered me a single black rose - with a devilish grin,
i accepted it with a smile - and now the ceremony will begin.
i've waited for this moment - that seemed like forever,
he already had my fate sealed with his - he'll leave me never.

we hugged then we kissed - he gave me the kiss of death,
it only took a few minutes - before he sucked all my breath.
he carried me to the bed - and gently laid me down,
he then took a few single black roses - put the petals on me and all around.

the single black rose he gave me - was really a key to my soul,
when i took it from him - we became whole.
he knelt down beside me - and said a beautiful prayer,
when he was finished - i was completely in his care.

we're finally together now - for all deaths eternity,
that single black rose will keep us together - from each other we'll never be free.
they say black roses aren't appropriate for the living,
but....what if the person is already dead - the receiver, and the one doing the giving?
