O God, when you prepare for me a table
in the presence of my enemies
grant me a heart so that I am able
to invite them to partake of the feast.

For Jesus taught me how to live in peace
and reconcile with foe and neighbour
so when I work for conflict to cease
You grant me your good and gracious favour.
