Today my heart is heavy
I'm weak and feeling down
I guess with all this sorrow
Stops my world from spinning round
I'm a man that's lost control
Without a reason to live
Standing in te shadows
With nothing else to give

I want to walk out from the shadows
To where the morning sun shines through
Take each day as it comes
And live the life that I once knew

But sadness rushes through my veins
Instaed of flowing blood
I've nothing in abundance
To help me fight the flood
I'm a soul within a body
That just can't help but live

Beneath grey skies I walk alone
In this world of so much uncertainty
My life revolves around being on my own

I pretend I'm unaffected

Like a fish out of water
