No more laughter, no more pain
I saw my life fading fast
Just like dreams that never last.

Only sorrow, only fears
Just like when you're crying tears
All my senses have now gone
The mind and body weak and can't go on.

This side of heaven
This time in my life
No longer upright
It's all too clear
