My hearts on fire
Soon it’ll be ash, nothing left
If you don’t ever have that feeling, go and find it
I’d rather have my heart on fire for something
Then have it cold and lifeless for nothin
It’s what we are meant to do and it’s what we have
Emotion drives us forward and carries us from moment to moment
It tears us down and builds us up all at the same time
My heart is on fire and I hope it stays that way till I stop breathing
