Believe in People

Always believe in the good in people
No matter what mistakes they've made
Because if you don't
They'll eventually lose track of it
You have to remind them of the good inside
Otherwise they lose faith in themselves
And go beyond the point of no return
So don't just look to the wrong they've done
But to the right as well
And the potential for something wonderful

This world

In this world consumed by greed and hate
Where everybody expects something in return
No one is nice because they choose to
And everywhere you look you'll find sorrow

So let's try to make a change
And let's be kind to everyone around us
That's how we'll make this world a place
That's worth living in and fighting for

My Chains

I want to break free, break free
From the chains that hold me back
That keep me from moving on
I don't want to forget my feelings for her
Just a way to give them a place in my heart
Because right now they control my every move
And I hate being bound by something
But right now there's no escaping
