I've made many mistakes in my life
But this one outshines them all
I managed to push away
The one person that's been there for me
And that truly understands who i am
I know this'll never make up
For all the harm i've done
And all the tears i've caused
But i want you to know
That i genuinely regret
All the hurtful things i've said and done
So all i can do is hope
That you'll forgive me some day
And that you'll be able to trust me
Like you did before
Because nothing is more painful
Then realizing that you hurt
One of the few people who actually understand you
I can't undo the things i did to you
But i told you the truth and now i hope for the best
