Drone.

I've tempted fires and braved the blaze,
But I can't fight your soul-less gaze.
Those hurt filled eyes, that empty smile,
They reek of lies and faint beguile.
I could not face your empty eyes.
And so I fled, took to the skies.
But there I only found more pain.
A higher view of my disdain.
I'd rip your heart out, vein by vein.
To make my smile whole again.
But nothing I could do will hide.
The emptiness I feel inside.
You forced my hand, I drove the blade,
I cast you into joyless shade.
And now I sit here, all alone.
Dead inside, a mindless drone.

Cautious, Sturdy, Domineering, Trustworthy, Enduring, Focused.

Let us re-adjust now, to the temperature of the water,
Let us re-assure ourselves that this is the path,
Let us construct a strong shelter, like the calm, cool otter,
Composed only of items we cherish of our past.

Let no wind sway us, like the delicate breeze,
To a majestic palm tree,
Let no consequence of our action, incite any grief,
For you or for me.

Let us don our distinct apparel,
Let us guide this ship bravely,
Through both the calm and the peril,
And still push onward gravely,

By your side I will stay,
Parrying all who attempt to strike us,
As we battle out this fray,
No rambunctious foe will smite us.

We are formiddable together,
And as such we shall remain,
Through disastrous, stormy weather,
And constant, inner pain.

Let no blood-lust of clans,
No interference of others,
Interrupt our plans,
To become fated lovers.

Broken

Broken,
I'm losing all my focus,
Sadness my only token,
I don't know where to go when,
Everything is crashing down,
Then I look to the skies,
I hear their lonely cries,
But no tears fall from my eyes,
'Cause I'm already in the ground,
Talking with death and grim,
The worms consume my soul,
The darkness grows within,
When,
Will I ever be whole?
Theres a void inside of me,
But my anger is blindin' me,
While they all are remindin me,
How my hate is definin' me,
Everything's moving so fast,
I'm still stuck in the past,
All I need is a pass,
So I won't be the last..
Broken,
And though my goal is clear,
Approaching ever near,
The flames of hate will sear,
Everything I love and cherish,
There's nothing left to compare,
It's like my heart isn't there,
I wallow in despair,
My only goal now is to perish,
And as I speak to you,
Nothing rings out more true,
Than the pain that I've gone through,
It's clear to me now that I am..
Broken,
Losing all my focus,
Sadness my only token,
I don't know where to go when,
Everything is crashing down,
Then I look to the skies,
I hear their lonely cries,
But no tears fall from my eyes,
'Cause I'm already in the ground,
My shelter's been destroyed,
And yet another void,
Springs forth like children's toys,
Ounce for ounce, pound for pound,
And now I'm growing hollow,
Consumed by my own sorrow,
There's noone left to follow,
Nothing left to yield my frown,
Life grows ever more arduous,
Things that never could bother us,
Grow like hate that could father us,
And since the second I hit the ground,
I've been,
Broken,
Losing all my focus,
Sadness my only token,
I don't know where to go when,
Everything is crashing down,
Then I look to the skies,
I hear their lonely cries,
But no tears fall from my eyes,
'Cause I'm already in the ground.

Bearing of the Night.

Like the gentle licks of a flame, engulfing a log,
The subtle embrace flows steadily, beautifully,
Slowing the constant, mechanical turning of cogs,
Revolving ever so absolutely and duly,
Divine hues, of imperial blues,
Surge through the skies, and implant mischevious roots,
Growing trees that will illuminate the midnight skies,
As the dark wolf howls, and the alert owl hoots,
We set down our tools and rub our weary, reddened eyes,
And long for the night, then like sparrows, take flight,
To the nest that has been waiting patiently, calling,
Ablaze in the ember that burns a dark, navy blue,
And like leaves, we ride the wind, gently, lightly falling,
'Till we reach the long pastures, where ideals ring true.

All for Naught.

Curtain drawn, lines spewed.
An ignorant display.
A stiff yawn, the stage booed.
Uninteresting play.

As the male drags on his horrid life,
He drags his feet in guilt.
He's lost his only, loving wife,
And burned their lover's quilt.

He is but just a hollow shell that shuffles down a path.
His scarred and tattered body has always felt life's cruel wrath.

And just when you think his pain has dulled, and happiness shines through,

Life pulls another deadly blow, that brings pain into view.

But this play is a boring one, for it's been seen a lot.
Its repetition isn't fun, it seems it's all for naught.

Abandon Regret

Seek forth, deep within,
That dark feeling is kin,
And growing completely,
It's begging to greet me,
To hide in the veil,
Of my fear to fail,
Of my love for one,
Of mistakes undone,
Time is a cruel man,
With an unchangable plan,
And, at his command,
You will sit, you will stand,
You will cherish the past,
You will hope it will last,
You will be crushed inside,
With no place left to hide,
And as your past haunts you,
As decisions made taunt you,
Remember to stay true,
To what life has taught you.
Breathe,
So you may progress yet again,
Heed,
All the warnings  you receive, my friend,
For life was not meant,
To be wasted, but spent,
On your dreams that you crave,
All alone, feeling brave,
Yet that decision you made,
Will lead to your grave.
So cherish the moment you're living in now,
Be convinced that it's great, some way some how,
Only then will you die in the best of graces,
Leaving all your regrets, in their respective places.

A Lover's Revenge

A glance back at the past,
Yet even then it was fake,
We were never meant to last,
You were one giant mistake,
And yet now,
You think,
Somehow,
I'd sink,
At the flash of  your hand,
The tip of your hat?
You think you command?
Well I say, Hows that?
And now that you've reappeared,
You expect me to be kind,
As if my hate has disappeared,
From the depths of my mind,
Well you're wrong,
It's still here,
All along,
While you're near,
I can't help but feel,
The unsatisfied urge,
To hastily repeal,
Apologies, I'm on the verge-
Of releasing my rage,
Upon your existance,
Of locking you in a cage,
And with a dagger's assistance,
Force into your heart,
The pain that you dealt me,
Tearing you apart,
So that I can feel free,
Such is the action I would take,
If you were here, don't you see?
I will never in life forsake,
To give you the pain that you gave me.
