On Time

Time - what does it mean to be,
Never existing but changing unceasingly,
With no movement, relaying on it steadily,
Ageless - but ageing other perpetually. [1]

Time is measured but in its flow,
Where does it come from, where it go,
From the past which lapsed but be,
Into the future which never one sees. [2]

We dream the past but never live in it,
We hope for the future but never exist in it,
We prepare for happiness which future be,
That future which never comes to be. [3]

It never decays but be the decayer,
It never is devoured, but be the devourer,
It never is ravaged, but be the ravager,
It never is wasted but be the waster. [4]

It values none - but be alls valuer,
It bows to none - but be alls bower,
It never be taught - but be alls teacher,
It never ends - but be alls ender. [5]

Of all the times - Time be the recorder,
Of all the things - Time be the robber,
Of all the sorrows - Time be the healer,
Of all the powers - Time be the taker. [6]

In the eternal flow of time,
As the enemy it out-shines,
But for two things sublime,
`Love’ and `change’ - devine. [7]

Time - the only constant surly be,
With Love and Change its company,
Love - the eternal time truth really be,
Change - everlasting deceiver surely. [8]

Creation - Destruction

Creation with Destruction quarrelling one day,
And with sheer annoyance did but say,
“You always do be the cause of my ruin,
Unendingly persisting till all you do ruin.” [1]

And Destruction replied at that time,
“But what I do - you should not so mind,
Without destruction no creation be,
Without me you be ever lost in eternity.” [2]

A Fairy's Tale

7
Give to eat mare some meat,
Leaves for lion - its freak,
Water for the parrot to dwell,
Air for the fish - it is hell.
[19]

Precious are the things that be,
Prized by and of true utility,
Water for fish, parrot for air,
Meat for lion, leaves for mare.
[20]

Peace

Peace - overcoming evil with good be,
Peace - overcoming falsehood with truth be,
Peace - overcoming hate with love clearly,
Peace - in hearts and minds of people be.

For Peace - love and sacrifice for it readily,
For Peace - strive to build it unhesitatingly,
For Peace - shun war understandingly,
For Peace - strive and work for it earnestly.

The more man sweats for the humanity,
The less he bleeds in war of societies,
Peace through peaceful means achieved be,
In nuclear age Peace the way of survival be.

Aim Of Life

A dog to vomit does turn,
As fool to folly but returns,
The wise err and learn,
Gaining from each burn. [29]

Love & Peace

Hatred goes not by hatred,
Violence not by violence,
Disappear hatred and violence,
By love, understanding, non-violence.

War - What It Be

War – fear cloaked in courage be,
War – a solution can never ever be,
War – but an aggravator surely be,
War – but murder in uniform only be.

War – a repeal of principles of virtue be,
War – a breeding ground of all vices be,
War – days of harvest for the devil be,
War – a means of peace can not be.

War – not an adventure ever be,
War – but a disease clearly be,
War – interlude during peace be,
Or peace – interlude during war be?
