Maybe I'll be your knight in shining armor...
Guiding you away, farther and farther...
Or maybe I'll be your end...
Guiding you away from your past friend...
You know what I had said about this never ending love?
Well...it's been shot down like a helpless dove.
I will be turning away from here on out, if I must...
Just because...well, maybe if I can't have your trust.
We've gone through SO much, making myself flood in memory,
Making me think of a certain melody...
But, I'm afraid, my dear, that that memory has gone to fly,
Because, my dear...it has begun to rot and die.

i very much enjoyed this line: "You know what I had said about this never ending love? Well...it's been shot down like a helpless dove. " it makes me imagine the celestial beauty just suddenly ending in a tragic sense... truely beautiful

Thank you very much. Out of the three poems I have up, this is the one that I'm most proud of...and it's kinda because of those lines, also.
