How To Read A Poem: An Audio Book

I worked as editor and executive producer on this experimental audio book, “How To Read A Poem”, published out of Singapore. This audio book translates assorted poems into a staggering array of musical interpretations from the pipa, erhu, sheng, cello, bass, darrbuka, and drums, as well as vocalists Alemay Fernandez and Shimona Kee. The tracks are produced by ethnomusicology-trained sound designer Jurgen Frenz and electronic music producer Case Woo. Other contributing artists and authors include: Grace Jadyn Cheng, Rachel Fang, Syeda Sana Rahman, Roy Dragon, Marcus Dengate, Hanafi Ramdan, Soh Wen Ming, Gerald Teo, Adrian Wee, Samuel Wong Shengmiao, Daryln Yang, Peng-Ean Khoo, Leong Liew Geok, Cyril Wong, Yeow Kai Chai, Kelvin Bik, Stanislaus Jude Chan, Redzman Rahmat, Zayed Talib, and Daniel Yap. The larger editorial team comprised Terry Ng, Nick Lim, Jonathan Han, Joan Goh, and Dana Ho.
