When I am going to use a human figure in my art work ,I will some time start by studying skeletons,to refresh my memory with proportion of body part in comparison with the who human figure. I would never consider my self to be accurate enough in my representation of the human form,to be come a portrait artist. But my art design always call for human character to appear in my art. So I use what ever talent I possess to present them in my artwork to communicate the message I am try to relay to my viewer. Study of skeletons,and photos from book,us the reflection of my own body in a mirror,and imagination are my resources to illustrate people in my work. Stephen J.
