How do I say goodbye... 
   after all the years with you....
I never thought the day would come,    
   when you would say were through,
The last six months have been so hard, 
    it should come as no surprise...
But the last thing that I ever wanted,
     was to hear you say goodbye,
I thought we'd be together,   
     until we reached the end,
Holding to each other...
     being my best friend,
When you think that what you have,
     is built on solid ground,
It disappears beneath your feet, 
     with everything you found, 
Everything you thought you knew,     
    turns out to be a lie,
And the only thing your certain off,
     you wish that you could die,
When I cried.. no one cared..
     there was no one there for me...
And the one I chose to love the most
     didn't want to be,
Its the hardest thing I've ever done
     to walk away from you...
But its not a choice I got to make,
     its what I had to do,
