Powder
on its surface – shakily he chopped
Out
another two long lines and picked up a bill
 
He
took a deep breath and was contented –
Once
more another few minutes of respite
From
this world so diseased and corrupted --
Constant
use had made him mentally ill
 
His
world was one of survival – no food or

Electric
or gas just coke and sod the world
His
appearance had declined along with his
 
Health
and his flat was a garbage pit of empty
Food
cartons - - cans and bottles – all manner
