Love - An end for a new beginning

She lay there in his arms dying,
Nothing he could do to save her
Her hands on his cheeks stopping the tears
Telling him it was time, time to say "Bye".

He saw his world crumbling
And nothing he could do to save it
With all the power, he yet was helpless
His eyes closed, hoping it was all a dream

She looked into his eyes, as though saying

We shall meet again, hold hands and walk on sand
