Nkwachukwu Ogbuagu, Nigerian poet, novelist, short story writer, painter and drummer, began writing novels at age 15. He attended Government Secondary School, Owerri, Nigeria, and today holds an M.Sc. in International Affairs and diplomacy. Son of a Superintendent of schools, Ogbuagu claims his writing prowess was inherited from his father, a historian and chronicler, who wrote and published the history of his hometown in Umuahia, south of Nigeria. Over the years, Ogbuagu has written five novels, a novella, two books of short stories and eight volumes of poetry. Many of his poems have been published in journals, magazines and online. His novel BOSHETH WILLIAMS was published in England in the autumn of 2003. WORDS OF A SHAMAN, his novel, was published in London, in March 2019. At the same time, he published his novella titled MY DUNGAREES as eBook in the Amazon Kindle Edition. His quotes are treated as quotable, and over 350 of them are published online, appear on various websites and are used by various individuals and corporate bodies. His painting and art have been exhibited in Germany. Ogbuagu, who confesses to being inspired by life, states that music and serenity propel him into scribbling lines of poetry mostly at sunset. He reads voraciously and meditates at length.
