in time
 
has it
been that long since
our minds touched
 
has it
been ages since
we spoke in whispers
 
has it
been such a long
while since we looked at each other
and smiled
 
like oil
time smoothens the
the jagged edges of
the memories that we shared in
the past
 
but now
that you are no
longer here i wait for
memories of life without you
to smoothen
in time//
