Black History Month

It seems you are so careless as to forget my name
To you its unimportant because my skin is not the same
My people are from Africa
Where I was born and raised
But then you took me in a ship
So I would be your slave
And as you are my master
It is you I must obey
But that will not stop me
I will still cry in vain
That we're not that different
And that you should be ashamed
We're all human beings
No matter black,white,blue,or gray
