Conflicted

I see your face when I close my eyes.

I hear you call my name in the whimpering wind.

In the moon, I know you love me.

Yet in the sun, I see my faults.

I can't seem to hate you, but I cease to love you anymore.

I can't choose for you, yet I wish I could.

Go away, but don't leave me.

When I turn away, you don't see my tears.

But I smile when I see your face.

I just can't do this anymore.
