FLUFFY PUPPY DOGS

Little bundles of joy.
On the carpet with toys.
Momma dog looks with a grin.
All day long they spin.
Knaw, chew, whine, and sing.
Roll around, baby barks and things.
Off in the quiet wings.
Daddy dog rests, with head sublime.
In his dreams, wishing of other times.
Yet, they roll and play onward.
On the carpet, OUT !!! in the yard.
Merry are the fluffy puppy dogs,
plus the bard.

CRACK BABY is CRACKED

Born just like that.
Don't shake like that!!!!
You just a baby born.
In this world not long.
Your eyes roll in your head.
Breath Baby - your not dead.
Pipe was full of mellow.
Can't stop that stuff.
Just want more every day.
You came along on the trip days.
I didn't want you.
I don't pray in a pew.
I know God made you.
I'm only your Mother.
Just one-not a few.

Into the attic I creep.
Just for a tiny peek.
They won't ever know.
I'll go real slow.

A pirate trunk to find.

Slowly open to look.
It's empty but one book.

Soiled and old, yet it gleams.
First page open by seam.
Dear Diary, today I cry.
