"I knew but i still went for you"

I know
I know
I never really had a
pure chance
You kept telling me
no
But I didn’t care
I went for you
With loss in my eyes
My mind would tell me
stop
Why are you doing
this you are only going to end up alone again with broken feelings
But I followed love instead
of the seeable truth
I felt the way you
would treat and ignore me
How you only view a
friend when we spoke
But I never did
I kept my mind so
much
On how you would
change on me
Caring one night
Then the next like if
I wasn’t even there
There was something
in you something that you didn’t want me to get close to
Wish you let me but
you didn’t
You push and pushed
me far away from what you felt and you turn to someone that I don’t even know
anymore and that I will never get to know

"God can help you more then i can"

I hear your words there shaking and hold fear
I see your eyes and they seem sad and broken
I know you what to cry more then you want to laugh
You express your abused heart and all what you feel
to me
My ears hear it all
My heart feels it all
My eyes see it all
I may not be the band aid to your open cuts that u
live with
I hate that you suffer like you did and do
I wish I could bring u peace that your mind doesn’t
give u
Wish u didn’t have to sleep with that pain and wake
up with it
I wish I could tell u that the pain ends here today

And that tomorrow you will never hear or feel it
But that’s never so
Go ahead take off all of your problems and make a
pile on me
If that helps
But just know I’m not god or you

I can’t change what u been through or grab your
sadness and make it walk away
I could only be there
Hold you
Speak to you with my heart and never leave
when you need me the most
I can only give you me
God can give you everything more then I ever
will
He can truthfully save your falling heart and life
I can’t
