He Never Leaves Us

Even when all tears
Left my eyes,
I could never realize
Who kept on smiling for me.

Even when all prayers
Left my lips,
I could never realize
Who kept on praying for me.

Even when all faith
Left my soul,
I could never realize
Who kept on blessing me.

Howsoever far
May we go from Him,
He never leaves us.

Halves

When you find me sad
Lend me half a smile,
When I find you sad
I'll share all the tears that you had.

When you find me lonely
Spend half a moment with me,
When I find you lonely
I'll share all my life with you.

When I'll fall silent forever
Call me once by half my name,
I'll answer you.

If ever you fall silent
I'll call you by all the names
That I could never tell you -
Would you answer me then?

Being a Good Soul

When passion
Gives way to compassion,
We discover Love.

When sacred desires
Unite with love,
We pray.

When emotions
Spill over the pensive mind,
We weep.

When memories
Build a life out of moments
We realize
Who we are.

Each of these
Makes us good souls
And takes us
Closer to Him.
