Nothing Can Save You

It creeps in,
Like a theif through the back door,
It breaks you down,
Worse than a war,
You crawl on your knee's,
To try and hide,
But it always finds you,
And makes you want to die,

There is no white light,
And the end of this black road,
There is no holy ghost,
That will take home,
Pray to your gods,
And to your priests,
Nothing can save you,
From whats tormenting me,

Love is like magic,
It happens so fast,
And you don't understand it,
It makes your heart race
And your mind doesn't follow it,
And when you lay in bed at night
And try to comrehend it,
You remember that magic,
is only and illusion.

Far Too Long

I thought that I could run from you,
That I could leave you behind,
But you always seem to find me,
And take over my life,

I thought emptiness was a phase,
Like smoking dope to ease the pain,
I thought you would be gone by now,
I hoped I would be better somehow,

What do you do when you don't want to go on?
When your legs are to weak,
And the pain is to strong,
Do you wait for a little hope?
That you know will never come?

I don't understand,
How they all move on,
I don't understand,
How they don't feel wronged

A Dead Heart Beat

Lets play a little game,
But the price is a heart beat,
Anyone can join,
But you must follow me,

Down this road of alcoholic pain,
Open your books, Take notes of the scene,
The bottle won't help,
And no one hears their screams,

Stand back and watch,
As they reach for the stars,
But they're too afraid to touch them,
They're cursed by their scares.

Do you see how it hurts?
How the pain never ends?
Remember if you take a chance,
To never tie your hands,
Their screams never stop,
And their hearts don't beat,
All they want,
Is to feel, Like you and me.

Who locked me outside,
In this Desolate place,
Who left me behind,
In lifes worthless race,

You stood at the door,
And watched me bleed,
I closed my eyes,
And fell to sleep,

Another monster in the mirror,
Another demon behind the fear,
Round edges that cut like knives,
Bottled anger in this life,

Who helped when you screamed?
Who walked away when you were in need?
Who came when you cried?
Who laughed when you died?
