I Love You

Touch my heart and feel
the warmth of the sun.

Touch my hands to experience
a labor of love.

Kiss my lips to fingerprint time
in a memory.

See me deeply sign to seal
forever today.

Gaze into my eyes to finally
answer why.

Catch your breath to live
forever knowing.

"I love you"

Heart Beats

Your heart is ready to forgive.
Your heart is often to blame.
Your heart is willing to give.
Your heart is hard to tame.

Your heart is tired of games.
Your heart is an Olympic torch.
Your heart is hot with flames.
Your heart is often scorched.

Your heart is set in stone.
Your heart cannot forget.
Your heart lies down alone.
Your heart sleeps with regret.

Your heart is bottle in sand.
Your heart is drop overboard.
Your heart washes back ashore.
Your heart is poured out again.

Your heart is drawn in sand.
Your heart expose to all.
Your heart breathes again.
Your heart is standing tall.

Your heart beats to share.
Your heart races for repair.
Your heart desires for care.
Your heart repeats a prayer.

Your heart is in love again.
Your heart is not a young pup.
Your heart runs from a chain.
Your heart begs with a cup.

Your heart is out of control.
Your heart accepts a dare.
Your heart sells its very soul.
Your heart is left with despair.

Your heart is turned away.
Your heart says "I’m insane.”
Your heart is now betrayed.
Your heart you can’t contain.

Your heart needs pain relief.
Your heart had breach a wall.
Your heart is a diamond point.
Your heart has inscribed its fall.

Your heart faces a firing squad.
His heart was pierced for you.
Your heart is released to God.
Your heart is returned renewed.

Your heart paces the sidelines.
Your heart is back on the field.
Your heart follows His guidelines.
Your heart is miraculously healed.

Your heart is a live experiment.
Your heart has passed the test.
Your heart has met perfection.
Your heart forgives the rest.

Be Mine

Be Mine

Standing here alone upon the shores of time.
A wishing star heard:"Will she really be mine?"
The moon wears a grey mask of clouds today.
Yet moving waves of love effortlessly my way.

The air can be a little thin floating up in the clouds.
Good to see that the old silver lining is still around.
Love from the past ran fast like sand thru the fingers.
Her scent from last night’s embraced even still lingers.

That healing hug sent sensations thru out the heart.
A simple gift from heaven that the stars can’t chart.
Timely and so surreal was that twinkling we shared.
It’s one chance in a lifetime to build with such care.

So I assemble all the sands of time.
To erect a statue of true love divine.
The sublime beauty of that balmy night.
Reveals an image with wondrous delight.

With the next rising of another morning's sun rays cast.
Washes away the shadows from the regrets of the past.
A tidal wave of love for her is now burning at the stake.
I’ve been swept away by one that ended the heart ache.

Valentine
