Vassals and
fellows let us beware


I hear the
endings call


The darkest
of all now outreached


I trust it’s
time to fall





Heart of
light once so soothing


Now forever
out of reach


We now join
our brothers in the deep


To embark
from the foreign beach





Funereal of
delights, watch me surge


Fathomless
and ever maddening


Of life
behind we now purge


Take to the
dark light of that final Thule





Glory bound,
we journey now


To answer
that far distant call


Time could
not last, for grave and gasp


That final
subtle pall
