Season of transparent deception


glass bottles hide,

what emotions hide,

up until three hours ago,

he knew,

or she knew,

what his avoidance had been

non closure of the heart,

betraying the self

ignoring what is,

wrapping hands about glass

peeling label

avoiding your own mirrored

eyes,

the wind has cooled

the air not so blue,

a soft vacancy

caused by a change

of season..
