I feel so empty inside.
My heart has been torn out!
I hear your voice all of the time.
Every voice is filling me with doubt.

I don't know what to do with you gone.
I hate to be left alone.
You've always been there since the break of dawn.
Unfortunately, you're like a bird, away you've flown.

I need you here just so I can see you.
I need you here so I can be in your grasp.
You were here when I was frightened because the wind blew.
You were here when I was lonely and I needed your hand to clasp.
