I've written the words
that fell like snowflakes upon my lips
I've written the words
that legions carried on their shields
through battles and blood
Through day and night
I've written the words
that sparrows carried
through the clouds
I've written all the words
I didn't dare to speak
I've put on my gloves
and threw away the pencils
I still love you.
