Poetry

I touch the grass
it's damp and cold
My hair is wild from the rain
Red lipstick on my mouth
Converse sneakers on my feet
Skinny jeans and a loose Ramones tee
out here in this land I am free
The green it surrounds me
Nothing but raindrops hitting the ground
and the smell of my purfume
mixed with the earth
I am here with my self
And as the rain drenches me
I take a breath, a sigh of relief
for I finally feel clean.
