To Pistis

Although I'm not here, neither are you.
Could you then hijack my heart,
And guide it to somewhere new?
Somewhere where the pages aren't torn apart.

Somewhere where my eyes wont dismiss
The faint elegance of your passive life
Or the gentle nudge of subliminal bliss
As my wrists are circumscribed by this knife.

Would you then appear? As I disappear?
And  recollect the fragments of time
I lost to you, all because of fear.
Make them wonderful again? Make them rhyme?

Maybe you did it once before,
I really don't know,
perhaps you'll do it forever more.
Until at last I'm out of the shadows.

Faithful

Love subdues all inhibitions,
taking from you all control.
Leaving you blind to all current conditions.
Capturing whats left of your soul.

Helpless lark above the mason's window,
how long till you finally lift your wings?
Why be dispositioned to follow the widow?
Have you no where else to sing?

Perched upon the window seal,
high above the saturated ground.
Struggling to remember whats real,
and holding on to reminiscing sounds.

Afraid of flying off and going down.
Into the tears you left for me
Going down and then drown.
In the sad love of your memory.

So alone you sit in her visual comfort,
drowning in her sweet soft image.
Hoping not to be hurt
from your self-ordained breakage.

Enviable

Its just the smile upon your lips,
when you know Ive got you there.
In that spot that others beg
and only dream of in despair.

Its a second from beyond,
and a lifetime to get there.
Just a few moments of pleasure,
that always seem so rare.

And in the time that I tell you,
I think of times my world surrounds you.
I get scared of being clear
I want you in my bed forever near.

Its those simple thoughts that follow me.
Those simple thoughts of alleyed harmony.
That make my idle heart beat faster,
just over a million miles per hour.

So now you know what you are.
Now you see we cant be apart.
You're the sun to my Earth,
(...)

Beliefs

And sometimes I dream the impossible,
when your kiss awakens my dormant heart,
and all my problems become so simple
that I kind of knew it from the start.

From that moment of your touch,
those soft movements of your hand
that stopped time on my watch,
and turned every hourglass to sand.

To the present where I wait
to take your breathe in
before my soul emaciates
from the lack of you within.

I dream the incredible,
because just talking to you
when thinking of something improbable
is found in everything you do.

And it blows my mind to believe
I yearn so much for your being,
Im actually afraid Im being naiive,
(...)
