NEW WAY

My life was perfect
Like a calm ocean
But a tsunami came
And flowed everything away
Trying to find something
In an absolutely new way

Found new people
But missing the old joy
Now the ocean is dry
With the fossils remain
Hurting me everyday
Even in the new way

Now the ocean is landscape
With the greenery above
Hiding the pain
Under it everyday

Yet no one has found
The ocean beneath
Crying for a water drop
Even at the shore

Searching for the ray
Making my way
Every new day.

OUR PROMISES

Standing on the border line
Of our hearts’ desires
We knew we’d never be together
We knew we’d never live forever.

But we promised to remember
Each other in prayers
To see us together in dreams
Playing near that old tall tree.

Now remembering that fun and gun
And the way we used to run
How to tell you I still miss you
I can just get a close review.

LOST HEAVEN

A beautiful heaven
Is covered with snow
All the glow is hidden
And is disappearing with the flow.

No ray of sunshine
Not even on the border line
It has become a lost treasure
Which was once somebody’s pleasure.

Time is taking it away
I’m unable to make my way
A part of my heart is hidden there
I’m afraid it would be lost there.

How to break the bond of time
How to make the things unwind
Leading to my heart erosion
And the locked devil of time to reopen.

UNSAID GOOGBYE

I don’t bother you anymore
Your eyes don’t distract me some more
I don’t irritate you like before
And we talk no more.

You were like an open book to me
But now you’re a hidden treasure
Unfortunately there’s no alibi
For this heart breaking unsaid goodbye.

This unseen protest of mine
Can only be felt by me
Why can’t you listen to me?
I’m shouting your name
Over and over again.

Though the rain has washed away my tears
It is still my biggest fear
Maybe it’s the last time
That I’m calling for you
If you can’t hear me this time
I think it will turn into
An unspoken, unsaid goodbye.

HER HIDDEN FACE

A beautiful face
Decorated with tears
An empty space
Surrounded by fears.

A lonely heart
Injured by dart
An over occupied mind
Struggling with memories left behind.

Eyes full of sorrow
Waiting for tomorrow
A fake smile
Trying to hide a miserable life.

A laughter with friends
Just to show she is growing with trends
Trembling steps
She is afraid, she can collapse.

Still breathing
But ready to be slaughtered
Still alive
Left in tatters.

Lost her track
Can’t go back
What the heck
He has painted her world black.

CHANGING WORLD

I’ve seen devils in heaven
And angels in hell
But it’s nobody’s fault
There’s no one to blame.

I’ve seen truths in lies
And lies in truths
Can’t decide what is right
When everything is virtually true.

I’ve seen good in bad
And bad in good
Now the colour of blood is changing
From red to black.

BUT STILL..........

Can I ask you for a favour
Please be here with me
I know it’s not possible
But still..........

Can you do me a favour
Hold my hand never to leave
I know you won’t
But still………..

Can I ask you for a favour
Stay by me always
I know you can’t
But still………..

Can you do me a favour
Talk to me all the time
I know it’s silly
But still……..

Can I ask you for a favour
Never ever leave me alone
I know you’ll
But still……….

Can you do me a favour
Come with me wherever I go
I know I’m being stupid
But still……….

POWERFUL MEMORIES

I’m still wondering how
How did I reach here?
Yet trying to know why
Why I have to be here?

Then I got you on my mind
You were always there behind
Showing me the correct stand
You were holding my hand.

But nothing stays the same
So the things have changed
I left you with the passing time
Now, I’m not getting the life’s rhyme.

Your memories have that power
To let me out from this dark
And yet somehow I rely on you
It’s something I never want to lose.

SO MANY ROADS

So many roads to walk on
So many things to talk on
On which road should I go
On which thing should I speak.

Every road seems to attract
Each word seems to distract
What is right, what is wrong
On which path should I go on.

I was listening a song
Then I heard a ding-dong
I opened the door
There appeared so many roads.

Every road seems to attract
Each word seems to distract
What is right, what is wrong
On which path should I go on.

I’m afraid to walk long
What if I chose something wrong
But I’m ready to face cataclysm
Never I will look back and turn.

Every road seems to attract
Each word seems to distract
What is right, what is wrong
On which path should I go on.

Each word is vital
Every sentence is partial
If you support one side
You don’t need to oppose the other and fight.

Every road seems to attract
Each word seems to distract
What is right, what is wrong
On which path should I go on.

A TRUE WISH

I wished a wish from the wishing star
And prayed a prayer to the great power
I observed the lightning in the sky
And heard the sound of thunder passing by.

In the shine of every star
Very far away O, my Lord!
I saw your face
Shining like a pearl
And your wings
You were flying like a bird.

I remembered the days of ecstasy
And the tears in my eyes were ready
I struggled with them
And let them inside
This is what I call
My very own fight.

The moon in the cloud nine
Was framing my heart line
I could feel the breath
It was my strength
You were all around me
I wondered if this could be.
