Me

I am, but me.
Entrapped in a cage, you see.
Someone thinks they love me.
All I feel is hatred.
Seeing, hearing and looking at you,
makes me feel so blue.

My life is mine.
Only for me.
I am not a possession,
a toy or thing.
I'm sick of being a prisoner,
in you cold, unfeeling heart.
I am but me.
If you loved me, see me free.

Back to the Future

After all these years.
The emotion, the hurt and the tears.
I got to let you go.
Set you adrift.
You broke my heart.
Right from the start.

I wish I could, rectify the mistake.
Jump in my time machine, and not stop.
And the road i missed, i would take.
Let go of the feelings.
I just want to be with you.
Girl with the eys, so blue.

Back to thr fuure,
set my path right.
For my angel's delight.

The spark we had ,
would have started a fire.
The passion, our desire.

Come with me, back to the future.

Freeloader

I work hard, making ends meet.
Covering my worn feet.
Gloves on my hands keeping me warm.
Sick of the ever greedy swarm.
Freeloader, taking what is not yours.
Locking down the windows and doors.
Nothing of mine, is ever yours.
Freeloader.

Lost

The years I have mislaid,
The personal cost, I ultimately paid.
Children, I could have had.
Opportunities, countless missed.
Cannot imagine the loss.
Time, love and money lost.

I found a girl I who I could love.
Not knowing, if she'd rescue me,
from my constant drowining.
Could make me smile, instead of frowning.

Or could she be another opportunity, lost.
