Grief

It has taken me a few days to gather my thoughts about the 20 children and 6 adults shot........I am grieving for their families as I understand what murder is all about.  I don't want to put myself in this situation now, as this is THEIR time.......it is apprehensible to think that someone could kill 20 innocent children and 6 adults....including his own mother.  I am assuming he was mentally ill.  He HAD to be.  GOD knows all things and there is only time for healing right now and in the future.  I cannot and won't put myself in the parent's shoes...it must be too much to bear.  Louis, a friend wrote a beautiful, heartfelt poem about it and it touched me so. Even at the worst of times, words can mean so much.
I will continue my prayer vigil for the families and community and pray that this will someday be a memory of times when the mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers can sit and talk about their loved one and laugh or smile; and the darkness will somehow be over.  That will be a long time off..............Blessings to all.................
