Bron Dayvid

Laura

Her innocence was penetrated
With a false since of comfort
He made her smile
He made her laugh
Her beauty was naïve
Never before grazed
Until he passed

So vivid was her mind
So pure was her soul
But even a slight of love can blind
This her young heart did not know

And when he left her he left her open
For all evils to enter
She now disdained him
And his sinner

Her eyes were not the right shade
Her hair didn’t look the right way
He so arrogantly implied
And when he walked out of her life
 Her innocence died
