when i light my candle - i always say i love you,
i watch the flame slowly burn - i know our love is true.
your presence fills the air around me - it's so strong,
i let my spirit go to you - my heart sings a song.
the flames flickering - is really a beautiful sight,
it's a symbol of our love - which will always shine bright.
i'll light a candle for you - every day of my life,
you give me peace of mind, heart, and soul - and take away the worlds' strife.
my candle is our love - sacred and pure,
we're apart now - we'll be together soon, i'm sure.
when i blow out my candle - i always tell you good night,
after the flame goes completely out - you know everything's all right.

i tried so hard to think of a different poem when i wrote this. all the poems i wrote, was a little over a year ago. i try to write different, but with how i feel at the time.
