Night Resort

Minutes before the sun sets,
I jump into the turquoise,
I hear the splash twice,
each in a different tone,
I let my relaxed body drown
and hold my breath inside,
but the air kept in my lungs
pushes me upward to float,
so I let it out smoothly,
like a long thread of pearls
it goes up, instead of my body
which descends slowly like the sun.

I watch the pearls explode
on meeting the glassy dark surface,
My eyes close like seashells
and my body mimics a starfish,
the night veils the outside
and the water becomes my element.

Forever Battle

When the night prevails
and the moon stands tall
proud of his dull creation,
the sun ascends slowly
with a great army of light,
the absolute intensity of
the great rainbow soldiers
overwhelms the darkness,
the moon mourns his loss
and escapes to the underworld
to prepare for another round.

Seven Pins

Bring me today's voodoo dolls,
the candles and the pins,
each of you, carry one doll
and do as I say.

Stick a yellow pin in stomach
for success and money,
now, put the red one deep
for the great power,
follow it by a black,
let him taste some pain..
take away the first two
and fix a blue pin instead,
love will make it up for him.

He is now too old to suffer,
another black pin to heal him,
and a one like his hair
to give good karma and energy,
a green and a purple
let him rest and get closer to me,
now, he is finally ready,
stick the pink pin in the heart,
blow all the candles,
prepare tomorrow's dolls,
and welcome our guests.

The Pitiful Tree

A soil was shared
by two little trees,
together endured
all kinds of weather,
time brought them closer
and branches did meet,
but it was not long,
before their intimate
hopeful arms broke,
they pushed and pulled
and hated one another,
until the weaker tree
submitted and withered.

A strong wind attacked
and the winner stood tall
and alone,for the first time,
his friend was down and
there was nothing to cling to,
the wind walloped harder
and battered the pitiful tree.

Without a word from me,
she came and began to talk,
told me about her miserable life
and all the paths she used to walk.

Without a word from me,
she left and others came,
each told a different story,
but none of them, told their name.

The Kill

A candle burns
warming the night,
as the cold breeze
dances with the flame
like a dark ritual
before a sacrifice.
It plays a sad tune
as it blows,
then winds to devour
another flame,
leaving the candle
choking in it's smoke.

Metal

I gaze at the date
on her bare neck,
as we lie on the beach
waiting to be scrap.

Her long dark hair
mingles with the night,
her sapphire eyes shine
like the ocean
under moon light,
a female projection
of my self,
a perfect landscape,
except we aren't.

Her light goes out
followed by mine,
two lightening balls
racing to the clouds,
leaving our bodies
empty on the ground.
