The Guise

Breaking shadows,
bursting through incandescent lights,
harried fourth,
haught unto pious might.

Cancerous effigy,
consuming all form and thought,
abruptly judged,
ardently scrutinized by all for naught.

Dais pulpit,
detached from holy reverence,
scorned angelic,
blasphemous full of violence.

Upraised limbs,
misconception guise of reason,
broken facade,
tis the bleeding season.
