I HATE CLOTHES

I hate clothes
I don't see why I have to wear
Shoes on my feet cloth everywhere
Only my arms and legs left bare

Why can't I
Be like a cat with fur to lick
Or like a lizard, small and quick
Or even a little, yellow chick

They don't wear
Shorts and trousers, vests and shirts
Clothes and blouses, frocks and skirts
They don't wear anything that hurts

Why should I?
