The One Word: Hope For Cambodia I worked as editor and writer on this book, “The One Word: Hope For Cambodia’s Challenges Today”, alongside co-authors Kimberly Mah Gui Ling, Rachel Fang Huici, and Amanda Koh Limin. The images in this book were shot by photojournalist Alan Lee. Through both journalistic rigor and ethnographic empathy, this full-color coffee table book takes a look at five areas of social concern in Cambodia, namely homelessness, landmines, Aids, prostitution, and destitute children. Apart from the breathtaking visuals, featured within are in-depth interviews with Khmer locals, social workers, as well as non-profit humanitarian organizations.
